About you:

I’m a mother of seven who went to college in my forties to prove to my two oldest kids, who were young adults at the time, that it could be done! I have been teaching kids how to play the game of school for thirty five years; first, as a stay at home mom and second as a public school teacher for the past ten years! I’ve also been teaching them the difference between school and education. I’m delighted to see that someone else agrees. I’m a huge advocate for developing relationships with students as a tool for motivating learning. We can’t “...light the flame within” (author unknown) if they don’t even want to be around us.
