I'm a middle school world language teacher, currently in a program for administration. The "Game of School" is 100% accurate and frustrating. In a perfect world all kids would have adaptable curriculum that is by and large of interest to them, rather than slogging through the "credit requirements" established by politicians. Self-directed learning makes my heart sing, and I wish there was more freedom of choice for students considering how much access we have to information, especially now compared to any other point in human history.
